Bicycles have been shown to have a number of health benefits: lowering the risk of a variety of chronic diseases

A bicycle is classified according to its style. There are three basic styles: recumbent bicycle, upright bicycle, and the velocipede bicycle. Recumbent bicycles are considered to be the most health-friendly because it requires the user to sit back and use both their feet to pedals. Upright bicycles require the user to sit on the handlebars and lean back while pedaling; this type of bicycle makes the rider sit much like a bike rider would while riding a horse.
Among the many health benefits associated with cycling, one of the main benefits is the reduced risk of injury from cycling accidents. Cycling has been proven to reduce the risks of many serious diseases, including diabetes, osteoporosis, heart disease, stroke, and cancer. Many cyclists suffer from shin splints, bursitis, tendinitis, and knee pain after participating in bicycling. These conditions usually appear due to intense physical activity and frequent cycling. Cycling has been known to help reduce the risk of injury in several other ways as well.
Although there are many benefits associated with bicycling, these benefits only exist if the cyclist is an active person who leads a healthy lifestyle. A bicycle is a great way to get healthy, but many people fail to make use of their bicycles in the proper manner. Most bicycles are not ideal for use indoors, because of the difficulty in turning, stopping, and riding.

The frame of a bicycle is considered the most important part of the bicycle, even though the seat and wheels often receive the most attention. A bicycle's seat should be comfortable and secure, and it should allow a comfortable amount of forwarding and backward movement. The discovery of the health benefits provided by the use of bicycles has given enthusiasts hope that a similar beneficial effect can be obtained today. Today, stationary bikes are among the most popular exercise machines used in gyms around the world.
