Sleeping masks are designed to shield eyes from unwanted light, inducing darkness which helps an individual to sleep faster and comfortably. Various types of masks are available in the market, depending upon shape, material, and others. Some sleeping masks are designed to provide total blackout and fit the face perfectly. Gel sleeping masks good for individuals with puffy eyes, dry eyes, and migraines. Sleeping masks are widely used by travelers, light sleepers, and shift workers. It is a popular option for those suffering from sleep apnea. The traditional one would have a hole in it, which allowed the user to breathe.

Sleeping masks have various effects on the body, depending on how and what is applied. For example, some masks can temporarily freeze the sweat off the body or make it feel hot or sweaty. Some types can also repel moths and provide anti-inflammatory relief. Sleeping masks can help user get a better sleep at night by blocking out artificial light and helping to maintain hormone balance.
